Dr Johannes-Alexander Müller

Associate Lecturer

Dr Johannes-Alexander Müller is an Associate Lecturer at the School of International Relations. His research focuses on the mechanisms through which the international community addresses some of the most urgent and complex multilateral challenges, with a particular emphasis on the role of international organisations. By examining the history of international organisations and negotiations, Johannes seeks to contribute to discussions on tackling global issues such as climate change, environmental degradation, and terrorism.
Prior to his appointment as Associate Lecturer, Johannes worked as a policy advisor and completed his PhD at the University of St Andrews. He also holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna and an MLitt in Terrorism and Political Violence from the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV).
